I’ve been looking for a sculpture for a large outdoor space and would really like to find something that feels more like a statement piece rather than a typical garden statue. I’m mostly interested in contemporary, abstract, or oversized sculptures that could work as the main focal point.

I’ve been browsing different galleries and artists online, and I came across https://overscaleart.com/ while looking at larger-scale pieces. There are some interesting options, but I’m still trying to figure out what style and material would make the most sense for an outdoor installation.

For anyone who has bought a sculpture before, what did you look for when choosing one? I’m especially curious about durability, maintenance, installation, and whether it’s better to go with metal, stone, fiberglass, or another material. Would also appreciate recommendations for places to find good-quality sculptures for sale.
