I’ve been thinking about adding an arcade machine to my game room, mostly for the nostalgia factor but also because it would be something everyone could actually play when friends come over. I’m torn between getting a classic-style cabinet with one game or going with a multi-game machine.

I’ve been comparing different options and came across https://arcadedad.com/ while looking at arcade machines. There seem to be a lot more choices than I expected, so I’m trying to figure out what’s actually worth the money.

For anyone who owns an arcade machine at home, what did you end up buying? Are the multi-game cabinets reliable, or is it better to stick with a dedicated machine? Also curious about things like maintenance, size, and whether they get used regularly after the initial excitement wears off.
