We’ve renovated the kitchen and dining area at our care home in the Dennistone neighborhood of Glasgow (UK). A decent pile of stuff has accumulated in the storage room: decommissioned commercial blenders, used dishes, trays, and dismantled metal shelving units. We can’t just throw all of this into regular street dumpsters—in the UK, the local council imposes a huge fine for care facilities disposing of commercial waste in municipal bins. Colleagues, how can we clear out the storage room quickly without unnecessary red tape?
