Liam and Olivia, the reigning #1 names, retain their crowns for another year. The matching “ia” pairs in the two names showcase the hottest sound in contemporary names: two consecutive vowel sounds for pure smoothness.
Yet throwback sounds show some momentum as well. The kingly classic Henry returns to the top 10 for the first time after a 109-year absence.
