Claudia, for instance, had been a global staple for centuries. But others might surprise you with their longevity. How long would you have guessed that Janessa graced the girls’ popularity list? How many names are left that have been on the list since 1880?
There are still almost 200 boys’ names–some a little surprising–but the girls’ list is much shorter. It’s been a while since I updated those lists, I’ll have to do that soon!
